Dharamshala is a hill station located on Dhauladhar range about 17 kms north east of the Kangra town. Oak and conifer tress are surrounding this snow capped place from all over. You can find the snow line more accessible to this place rather than any other hill station nearby. Hindi, Punjabi, and Pahari are the spoken languages here. January to June is said to be the best season to visit this place. July to August is said to be the rainy season. Heavy woolens and light woolens are the preferred clothing.
